Oil Mist Detector Graviner MK6 inpsection & calibration
Description
The inspection and calibration of the Oil Mist Detector Graviner MK6 was carried out onboard the vessel, where our team performed a complete functional check of the entire system. Each sensor was tested individually to verify correct response, stability, and sensitivity according to the manufacturer’s specifications. The main control panel was also inspected thoroughly, including its internal electronics, alarm circuits, and configuration parameters. All wiring routes and terminations were checked to ensure proper continuity and signal integrity, confirming that the installation remained in good condition and free from faults.
Following the inspection, a full calibration procedure was performed on every sensing head to ensure accurate mist‑level detection across all channels. Alarm thresholds, timing sequences, and safety interlocks were verified through controlled tests, confirming that the system responded exactly as intended. The panel’s settings were reviewed to ensure no unauthorized adjustments or modifications had been made, and all parameters were aligned with Graviner MK6 standards.
Upon completion of the work, the system demonstrated stable and reliable operation, with all sensors and alarms functioning correctly. The vessel received a detailed service report documenting the inspection findings and calibration results, along with the official calibration certificate confirming compliance and readiness for safe engine‑room operation.
