The Water Ballast Level Indicators Modification Construction project involved the complete design and fabrication of a new monitoring panel built entirely from scratch. The system incorporates independent LUMEL N21 level indicators, each dedicated to one of the vessel’s twelve ballast tanks—covering tanks 1 to 5 WBT on both port and starboard sides, as well as the AFT and FPT tanks. Each indicator provides a clear, real‑time reading of the water level (meters) in its respective tank, offering the crew a reliable and easily interpretable overview of the vessel’s ballast condition.

As part of the upgrade, the old and outdated panel was fully removed and replaced with the newly constructed unit by Alpha Automation. The installation was completed successfully, with all wiring, sensors, and indicators integrated and tested to ensure accurate operation and stable performance. The result is a modern, robust, and user‑friendly monitoring panel that significantly enhances ballast management and improves operational awareness on board.
