Generator PMS & KW Instrumentation Inspection

Description

A detailed technical inspection was carried out across the vessel’s generator systems, focusing on the Power Management System (PMS) signal pathways and the accuracy of the KW instrumentation. Our team performed a structured evaluation to ensure seamless communication between the generators and the automation logic, safeguarding the vessel’s operational reliability under all load conditions.

During the inspection, we verified the PMS signal integrity for each generator, assessed the KW meters under live operational scenarios, and confirmed that standby and auto‑transfer functions responded correctly to system demands. Particular attention was given to the automation parameters and interlocks, ensuring that the generators transition smoothly between operational states without delays or inconsistencies. Defective modules identified during testing were replaced immediately, restoring proper signal flow and system responsiveness.
