Kangrim Boiler & Oilon Burner – Full Health Check Inspection

Description

Our team recently completed a full health‑check inspection on a Kangrim Boiler and Oilon Burner as part of the vessel’s planned maintenance program. The inspection covered all major mechanical, electrical, and combustion‑related subsystems to ensure safe, stable, and efficient boiler operation. The boiler and burner were evaluated in detail to confirm that all components were functioning within operational standards.

The scope of work included visual inspection of the boiler, cleaning and inspection of the burner assembly, internal checks of the boiler control panel, and verification of the fuel system — including pressure, filters, and valves. The ignition system and flame sensors were tested, followed by a full burner sequence test covering pre‑purge, ignition, flame detection, and normal firing operation. Additional checks were performed on the combustion air fan, air damper calibration, safety valves, and all interlocks to ensure correct and safe response under all conditions.

The equipment was found to be in good operational condition, with only minor adjustments required to optimize combustion performance and improve overall efficiency. With these corrections completed, the boiler and burner are now operating safely, reliably, and ready to support continuous vessel operations.
