Kangrim Composite Boiler – Full Inspection in Manual & Automatic Mode

Description

We recently completed a comprehensive inspection of the vessel’s Kangrim composite boiler, performing detailed checks in both manual and automatic operating modes. The goal was to verify the boiler’s reliability, operational stability, and full compliance with safety standards. Our team examined all major components — including the burner, servomotor, pressure switches, solenoid valves, and auxiliary systems — confirming that each part operated correctly and consistently.

During the manual‑mode inspection, we verified the full start‑up and shutdown sequence, ignition performance, and proper response of the oil‑servo load adjustment. These checks ensured that manual control remains stable and predictable under all operating conditions. The system was then switched to automatic mode, where we validated correct modulation based on water level, pressure, and temperature inputs. The boiler’s control logic demonstrated smooth transitions between minimum and maximum load, confirming proper automation behavior.

To complete the process, all safety devices, water‑level sensors, valves, and blow‑down/drain systems were tested to ensure accurate response and safe operation. With all functions verified, the boiler was confirmed ready for continuous service, providing the vessel with reliable steam generation and full operational confidence.
