Tank Level Alarm System (95%–98%) – Inspection & Fault Identification
Description
Our team successfully completed repair and inspection works onboard, focusing on the vessel’s Tank Level Alarm System (95%–98%) equipped with an Omicron panel. This system plays a critical role in cargo and ballast monitoring, making its accuracy essential for safe and compliant operations. The attendance was part of a targeted effort to ensure the alarm system remained fully reliable during high‑level tank operations.
During the onboard inspection, a detailed evaluation of the system’s wiring, alarm channels, and sensor feedback was carried out. Through functional testing and signal verification, our technicians identified faulty level sensors that were causing inconsistent or incorrect alarm activation. The findings confirmed that the issue originated from sensor degradation rather than panel malfunction, allowing for a precise and efficient repair plan.
The affected level sensors were removed and transferred to our facilities for specialized repair and restoration. At the workshop, each unit will undergo circuit‑level diagnostics, component replacement where required, recalibration, and full functional verification before reinstallation. This process ensures that every sensor is restored to original operational specifications, guaranteeing accurate level detection and reliable alarm triggering.
Our commitment remains focused on maintaining the reliability and safety of critical onboard systems. By responding promptly and delivering high‑standard technical support, we ensure that vessels continue operating with confidence, supported by instrumentation that performs consistently under demanding conditions.
